March 19, 2003: Eric Kraus and his band, 'Bruening Sun', have another song available for download at MP3.Com. It's called '16 Ounces' and Eric sings lead on the track. Additional information on the band can be found at Bands On Tap or by e-mailing Eric at oilerboy1@aol.com. Eric says the band is in the process of recording their first full length album at West Hills Productions in Coraopolis, PA. The album is tentatively titled 'Monacatootha'. Eric also sends news that he's been selected for the Bucco Brigade for the third year in a row.

August 14, 2002: Eric Kraus is playing percussion (congas,etc.) in a band called 'Bruening Sun'. You can click on this link, select the name of the band in the drop down list, and hit the search button to find out information about the band such as upcoming gigs, set lists, and news: Bands On Tap. You can also go to their page at mp3.com and download one of their songs called 'Possibly Someday' and view pictures of the band: Bruening Sun.

June 3, 2002: This coming week will see the high school graduations of Melinda Nocera, Craig Conforti, and Carina Kraus. Melinda will be graduating Tuesday, June 4, from Lincoln High School, and her open house party is on Sunday, June 9, at the Frisco Fire Hall. Craig will be graduating from Blackhawk High School and will be holding his party on June 30. Carina is graduating on Friday, June 7, from Shenango High School and her open house party is on Sunday, June 23, at St Joseph the Worker Wherle Hall (School Bldg. gym). Congratulations to our 3 graduates!

June 3, 2002: Jim Fowler, the wildlife expert seen frequently as a guest of Johnny Carson on The Tonight Show, recently visited the school where Butch Angelucci teaches. Butch reports that Jim brought a python, a 50lb. tortoise, and some mammoth cockroaches to the school. Here you can see Jim Fowler posing with a creature we believe to be Butch: Picture.

May 11, 2001: On May 5, 2001, Michelle Hampton, daughter of Greg and Diane Hampton, graduated from Old Dominion University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English, with a minor in Political Science. The morning graduation ceremonies included an address by Tim Russert from 'Meet the Press' and was followed by a luncheon party at the Oceana Naval Air Station Officers' Club. Attending from Ellwood City were her grandmother, Aurora Hampton, her aunt, Barbara Yerace, and cousins, Justin Yerace, and Dylan Anderson.Pictures.

May 9, 2001: On April 25, 2001, at 8:20 am, Reed Matthew Angelucci was born. He is the son of Butch and Holly Angelucci. Reed weighed in at 8lb. 1oz and was 21" long. Picture.

March 5, 2001: Michelle Hampton, daughter of Greg and Diane Hampton, served as an intern for Senate Majority Whip, Sen. Ken Stolle, during the recent session of the Virginia General Assembly that ended on February 24. She was also in charge of all the interns from Old Dominion University who were assigned to various legislators during the session. She graduates from Old Dominion on May 5, 2001 and will be working for Sen. Randy Forbes during his campaign for Lt. Governor this fall. Pictures.

March 5, 2001: Eric Kraus, son of Hans and Monica (Angelucci) Kraus, was selected on February 21 to be part of the Bucco Brigade! He is going to Orlando, Florida from March 2-6 for training. He will be learning all the stunts that he will be required to perform in the stands during selected Pittsburgh Pirate games. Eric says he will be break-dancing on top of the dugout, among other stunts. The company that employs him also performs in other cities throughout the country and is sometimes used by musicians such as Jimmy Buffett and George Straight during tours so this could turn out to be quite a job!

March 5, 2001: Brian Mathew Hampton (Captain Falcon) was born on February 13, 2001 to Michael,sr. and Karen Hampton. He weighed 9lb 1oz and was 21 1/2 inches long. He is the grandson of Greg and Diane Hampton. Pictures.

Aug 10, 2000: Devan Lee Helms was born on July 11, 2000 to Greg and Melissa (Cole) Helms. He was 20 inches long and weighed 7lb 6.1oz. He is the grandson of Keith and Cindy (Hampton) Cole. Pictures here.

June 22, 2000: A daughter, Lauren Marie Miller, was born to Michael and Lisa (Cole) Miller on Saturday, June 17, 2000. She weighed 6lb 3oz and was 19 in tall. She is the granddaughter of Keith and Cindy (Hampton) Cole. Pictures here.

September 15,1999: Eric Kraus reports from Edinboro University that "school is really great". He says he lives in a dorm that has had some gangster warfare and also says that there was a riot outside his dorm. Eric has been cast as a Negro Handyman named 'Lacey' in the Edinboro University production of 'Cat On a Hot Tin Roof'. Here's hoping those Samuel L.Jackson roles keep on rolling in for him! Eric's new e-mail address can be found on the e-mail page, although it pains me deeply to see the user name he has chosen.

June 17,1999: At 8:34am on June 16,1999, Michael Edward Miller,jr.(Mikey) was born. He is the son of Lisa (Cole) and Michael Miller of Odessa, Texas. The proud grandparents, Cindy (Hampton) and Keith Cole, report that he weighed in at 7lb,7.8oz and was 21" tall. Pictures here.

June 1,1999: On May 2,1999, The Times mentioned Joe Conforti, son of Ron and Rose Conforti, in the Scholastic Notebook column written by Bill Utterback. It concerned his choice of Bethany College and the transcript can be read here.

June 1,1999: Cheryl Lynn Hampton, daughter of Tommy and Debbie Hampton of Orange Park, Florida, will be graduating from Middleburg High School at 8pm on June 11,1999 at Middleburg High School Stadium. Her grandmother, Aurora Hampton, will be in attendance. Picture

April 21,1999: Lot's of Angelucci/Kraus news! First of all, Eric Kraus, son of Monica and Hans Kraus, will be graduating from Shenango High School on June 4,1999. All family is invited to an open house party in his honor on Sunday,June 6, at St.Joseph the Worker Church Hall from 2pm until Monica says go home. Eric has been accepted to Edinboro University and will begin his studies in the fall. Eric is also appearing in the New Castle Playhouse production of "Sound of Music" in which he plays the part of Herr Zeller (an angry German!). The play runs April 23 and 24, April 29 and 30, and May 1 at 8:00 P.M. and Sundays April 25 and May 2 at 3:00pm. Carina Kraus will be appearing in Shenango High School's production of "The Pajama Game" which will run April 29 and 30, and May 1 at 7:30pm in the high school auditorium. Hans Kraus will be appearing in the play "Chapter Two" at the New Castle Playhouse which will run for three weekends beginning on May 14. The play will be directed by none other than Paul Angelucci who thus far has eschewed the bright lights of Broadway. Monica Kraus sits in the audience for now but it is only a matter of time before she is sure to burst on the scene as a mad,whistle- blowing matron in some future musical comedy!

April 17,1999: Alexa Angelucci will make her first communion on April 24,1999 at St Isaac Jogues Church. Aunt Ellie, Uncle Fonce, Monica and Carina Kraus will attend from Pennsylvania as well as Alexa's godfather, "Uncle Paul" Angelucci. Her parents, Dan & Rose Angelucci, will take her to Jacksonville, Florida the following week for golfing and fun on the beach.

January 15,1999: Lisa Marie Cole and Michael Edward Miller were married on Saturday, January 2,1999 at 11:00am at First Baptist Church in Eunice, New Mexico. Pictures

December 25,1998: At 7:47am on December 20,1998, Kelsie Alyssa Helms was born. She is the daughter of Melissa (Cole) and Gregory Helms. Congratulations to the lucky couple!

November 29,1998: Joe Conforti, son of Ron and Rose Conforti, played for Blackhawk High School in The WPIAL Class AAA High School Football Championship game at Three Rivers Stadium in Pittsburgh on Saturday, November 28,1998. We have pictures from the game which was won by Moon Township by the score of 34 to 7.

November 26,1998: Congratulations to Nancy and Mike (Mr.Mom) Nocera on the birth of their new son, Dominic James! Dominic was born at 2:11pm on November 24,1998 and weighed in at 9 lb. and measured 21 in.

November 24,1998: Paul Angelucci is traveling to Detroit, Michigan to attend the Thanksgiving Day game between the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Detroit Lions. His brother, Danny, will be taking his son, Adam, to his first Steeler game!

November 12,1998: Melissa Lynn Cole and Gregory Lee Helms were married on Thursday, October 1,1998, at Odessa Tabernacle Church in Odessa, Texas. Pictures

September 24,1998: An article appeared in the Ellwood City Ledger on August 28,1998 about the 1948 State VFW Baseball Championship which was won by the Ellwood City team. Fonce Angelucci was a member of the team and the transcript of the article as well as two photos that appeared in the paper can be seen here. The number of names in the caption of the top photo do not match the number of players pictured so you have to guess which one is actually Fonce. If I get the correct information I will post it here.

August 29,1998: Hurricane Bonnie hit Virginia Beach, Virginia on the night of August 27 and morning of August 28, 1998. If it would have happened during the day, I could have gotten some better pictures. There is one picture of the sky on the morning of August 27 and one picture taken in the dark the night of August 27. The rest of the pictures are of the areas around Greg Hampton's house, the areas around Michael Hampton's house, and some of the debris strewn over the neighborhoods between the two houses. Pictures

May 31,1998: Dick and Terri McAllister were married at their home on May 16,1998. Pictures

May 3,1998: Jason Stoyanoff and Crystal Kennedy were married on Saturday, May 23,1998. The wedding was held at Koppel United Methodist Church. The reception was held at the North Sewickley VFD Social Hall.

May 28,1998: New Family!!!!! Butch and Holly Angelucci have become the proud parents of twins! At 10 am, May 27,1998, Holly gave birth to Luke Angelucci (3lbs,2oz), and Mallory Angelucci (2lbs,12oz). Uncle Danny reports that everyone is fine and that the twins should be going home from the hospital in 4-6 weeks, as soon as they are big enough.

May 16,1998: Michelle Hampton received her Associate in Science degree in General Studies from Tidewater Community College in a ceremony at Scope Arena in Norfolk, Va. on May 15,1998. Pictures

April 2,1998: Diane Hampton and her son, Michael J. Hampton,sr., have opened a carpet cleaning business in Virginia Beach, Va. called "Steam Pro Carpet Care".
